Does a training program need a follow up ? Is it worth the time and effort ?
In most organizations , the concept of a training followup , does not exist. In organization after organization that I have come across , the training professional seems to switch on as soon as there is a discussion about training objects , process , feedback etc and seems to switchoff as soon as the feedback is taken . There is an altogether lack of resources with respect to training followup.
